Water Recycling Passive Cooling
Since water conservation is a major issue, the design focused on promoting responsible water use. In addition to the supply of industrial water, a filtration system was installed to recycle water from the pools, thereby reducing the consumption of drinking water.
Our environmental scientists worked with landscape architects to implement a phytoremediation system using filtration marshes for stormwater and graywater, which will allow this water to be reused within the system.
Consideration was also given to limiting the use of energy-intensive systems. Studies of thermal comfort and fluid flow behavior made it possible to optimize the placement of windows and doors so that only passive cooling systems—via strategically positioned openings—are used. In addition, a system for recovering heat from shower graywater will be used to preheat the cold water supplied to the domestic hot water system in the locker room area.

In a large tertiary park adjacent to a natural area, a redevelopment project was undertaken as the prime contractor for green spaces to promote permeability and natural breakthroughs up to the building foundations.
We translate the client's expectations into an ambitious acoustic program, focused on occupant comfort.
