We have entered the era of low-carbon buildings. Considering 'energy savings' and 'emissions reduction' in real estate construction and renovation projects is a societal responsibility, as well as a regulatory obligation since the publication of the RE2020 environmental regulation.
For both renovation and new construction projects, whether residential, commercial spaces, hospitality, or tertiary sector, our clients can rely on our expertise in environmental project management.

- Environmental design engineering. We assist architects in conceptualizing their projects to achieve the lowest possible carbon footprint;
- Support during the execution phase, to ensure the building's environmental performance upon delivery;

Towards certification, and beyond!
We are recognized as a major player in environmental certification. Our team comprises accredited professionals for BREEAM, LEED, HQE, and WELL certifications, as well as consultants for local approaches such as BDM (Mediterranean), BDF (Ile de France), BDNA (Nouvelle Aquitaine), and BDO (Occitanie). We are also members of the BBCA Renovation technical committee, which developed the first method for measuring the carbon footprint of a renovation throughout its entire lifecycle. Sinteo is also involved in defining the new Circolab label, which promotes circular economy principles and the reuse of construction materials.
Finally, we assist our clients in implementing best practices for building design, development, and operation with the aim of obtaining labels or certifications that enhance occupants' quality of life, such as the OsmoZ label or WELL certification.
Beyond certifications alone, Sinteo is committed to optimizing the environmental performance of the projects it contributes to. To achieve this, we utilize 3D modeling and specifically focus on (non-exhaustive list):
- Ensuring occupant comfort by analyzing daylight penetration and conducting dynamic thermal simulations;
- Assessing building energy consumption, verifying that it aligns with projected load assessments through dynamic energy simulation;
- Maximizing its resource efficiency by analyzing the lifecycle of its constituent products and its carbon footprint.
