Bendor Island
For this high-end project, the project owner’s top priority is to showcase the island’s cultural, architectural, and natural heritage.
We also prioritize local craftsmanship, the use of regional materials, and reuse.
To achieve acoustic excellence, we focused on the island’s acoustic zoning and the selection of high-quality acoustic treatments.
In terms of outdoor thermal comfort, our simulations allowed us to strategically position the vegetation to reduce the heat island effect and provide protection from the mistral.
Finally, as part of the island’s renaturation efforts, our ecologists have conducted a large-scale phytosanitary assessment and are working to develop a gradient of naturalness.
Guided by Macif's flexibility and usage requirements, we are managing the BREEAM certification process for the renovation.
In a large tertiary park adjacent to a natural area, a redevelopment project was undertaken as the prime contractor for green spaces to promote permeability and natural breakthroughs up to the building foundations.
We translate the client's expectations into an ambitious acoustic program, focused on occupant comfort.
